La demi-finale de la Supercoupe d’Arabie Saoudite a vu Al-Nassr affronter Al-Hilal dans un match électrique où les enjeux étaient élevés. Malheureusement pour le club de Sadio Mané, Al-Nassr, la soirée s’est soldée par une défaite 2-0 face à Al-Hilal, dirigé par Kalidou Koulibaly. Cependant, la controverse entoure le match, en particulier en ce qui concerne un but refusé qui aurait pu changer le cours du jeu.
Avant les deux buts décisifs d’Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr avait trouvé le filet adverse, mais l’arbitre a annulé le but pour un hors-jeu de Cristiano Ronaldo, qui aurait été impliqué dans l’action sur la passe de Sadio Mané. Après le match, le joueur sénégalais a vivement critiqué l’arbitrage, affirmant que le but de Otavio aurait dû être validé.
“Beaucoup de choses se sont passées dans ce match. Pourquoi l’arbitre n’a-t-il pas été consulté sur le but d’Otavio ? Ronaldo n’a pas touché le ballon. Aucune influence sur l’attaque. Le but aurait dû être accordé. Ces situations arrivent à Al-Nasr. Nous ne méritions pas de perdre”, a déclaré Sadio Mané, cité par Haza.
Malgré la frustration, Mané a salué l’effort de son équipe face à l’adversité. “Malgré l’expulsion, nous n’avons pas baissé les bras et avons essayé de changer le résultat. Si nous avions eu plus de temps, nous aurions pu le faire. Nous espérions nous qualifier et remporter cette coupe, mais cela n’a pas été le cas. Certaines décisions prises par l’arbitre au cours du match auraient nécessité son intervention, mais il a choisi autrement. En fin de compte, ces décisions ne changeront rien”, a-t-il ajouté.
Al-Nassr, actuellement deuxième et nettement distancé par Al-Hilal en championnat, se retrouve éliminé de la Supercoupe et de la Ligue des champions asiatique, ce qui laisse une fin de saison sans grands enjeux pour le club saoudien.
