Le chiffre d’affaires s’est affiché à 1.335 milliards FCFA.
Selon un communiqué de la direction générale au Sénégal, ces résultats ont été favorisés par le recrutement de nouveaux clients sur les services télécoms et mobile money, le développement des usages sur toutes les lignes de produit et l’élargissement du portefeuille des offres pour les clients particuliers, entreprises et opérateurs.
La croissance de 10.7% du chiffre d’affaires consolidé sur les cinq pays (1.335 milliards FCFA) est essentiellement tirée par la Voix, le Très Haut Débit Fixe et Mobile qui ont compensé les effets ralentisseurs de la concurrence sur le marché du Mobile Money, lit-on dans le document.
Et les résultats de 2021 sont le fruit de 214 milliards FCFA d’investissements réalisés par toutes les filiales soit 16% du chiffre d’affaires consolidé. Ces investissements ont permis d’améliorer « l’expérience client et la qualité des services, d’étendre et de densifier les réseaux Très Haut Débit Fixe et Mobile (Fibre Optique et 4G+) et d’adapter les réseaux et plateformes de services aux innovations technologiques à venir (pilote 5G, par exemple) ».
Ainsi, le Groupe Sonatel dit répondre aux obligations réglementaires de couverture et de qualité de service, aux attentes des clients et accélère l’inclusion numérique et financière dans les pays de présence.
Le résultat net de 252 milliards FCFA représente 18.9% du chiffre d’affaires, et est en croissance de 25,4% par rapport à 2020 grâce aux performances commerciales et financières et à la faveur du rebond post covid des économies de nos marchés.
Contribution de la Sonatel à l’Economie du Sénégal à hauteur de 61,5%
Contribution du Groupe Sonatel à l’Economie et à la Création de richesse dans les pays de présence à hauteur de 61,5% du chiffre d’affaires consolidé. Plus de 367 milliards FCFA ont été versés aux budgets des Etats à titre d’impôts, taxes collectées directement, redevances, cotisations sociales, droits de douanes et dividendes, soit 27,5% du chiffre d’affaires consolidé. Les activités du Groupe Sonatel ont par ailleurs généré 273 milliards pour les états au titre des taxes collectées indirectement.
Au titre du développement du secteur privé local, les activités du groupe ont généré plus de 310 milliards de FCFA de revenus au profit des entreprises locales (sous-traitants, fournisseurs, prestataires, etc.), soit 23,3% du chiffre d’affaires consolidé. En terme d’emplois, les activités du groupe ont permis de consolider plus de 4 500 emplois directs et plus de 160 000 emplois indirects grâce à des partenariats dynamiques dans les domaines technique et commercial.
