C’est une tournure inattendue qui s’est produite à l’assemblée nationale lors de l’installation du bureau de la 14ème législature. Le choix porté sur Amadou Mame Diop pour le perchoir au détriment de la tête liste nationale Aminata Touré, a changé toutes les données mettant ainsi la majorité BBY dans une situation inconfortable.
Tout est parti après le coup de fil du chef de la coalition BBY à sa tête de liste nationale, Aminata Touré, pour l’informer du chamboulement de dernière minute qu’il a opéré pour le perchoir. Un choix contesté par Aminata Touré qui a exprimé son farouche désaccord par rapport à cette décision du chef. Car selon l’ancienne présidente du CESE, le choix du président Macky Sall est strictement familial. « Tout d’abord, je voudrais encourager les jeunes à continuer à croire aux valeurs de loyauté, de mérite et d’équité, même si pour l’élection du président de l’Assemblée nationale, aucune de ces valeurs n’a été mise en avant par le Président de la Coalition de Benno Bokk Yaakaar. J’ai passé ma vie à lutter contre l’injustice, j’en ai subi pas mal dans mon compagnonnage avec Macky Sall, mais là, c’est celle de trop. Celle qui privilégie les liens familiaux par-dessus le mérite militant, ce n’est plus tolérable. Il est clair et établi que le choix est strictement familial, c’est connu de tous. Mais à ce moment, il fallait que le cousin fasse le tour du Sénégal, 5.175 km exactement et le travail préalable. Il n’y a pas de responsables pour aller au front et d’autres pour ramasser les fruits.
La politique, ce n’est pas du servage où certains, forts de leur appartenance familiale, attendent que les autres travaillent pour eux. Ces liens familiaux sont connus et établis avec la famille de Mansour et Marième Faye. Je parle là au nom de tous les indignés de l’Alliance pour la République (Apr) et de Benno bokk yaakaar (Bby). J’aurais pu laisser passer, négocier un poste honorifique, mais il y a des moments où il faut se regarder dans la glace et se dire si on vit pour les valeurs pour lesquelles on s’est battu toute sa vie. Je me suis battue contre l’injustice et continuerai à le faire. Pour être très claire, je n’ai pas participé au vote, je n’ai pas voté pour le candidat du Président de la coalition BBY », réagit Aminata Touré avant de quitter la salle de plénière où se déroulait le vote.
Une situation qui risque de coûter cher à la majorité présidentielle si l’on sait qu’au lendemain des législatives du 31 Juillet 2022, BBY avait enregistré un score très serré devant l’inter coalition Yewwi-Wallu (80 contre 82). Il a fallu d’ailleurs le ralliement de Pape Diop pour garantir la majorité absolue et non confortable. Avec cette posture de Aminata Touré qui s’est démarquée du choix du président Macky Sall, la coalition BBY ne risque-t-elle pas de perdre sa majorité à l’assemblée nationale si l’on sait que toute l’opposition réunie fait 82 députés si on y ajoute les voix de Pape Djibril Fall et Thierno Alassane Sall. Et si toutefois Aminata Touré décide de soutenir l’opposition, BBY risque de devenir minoritaire à l’hémicycle, si l’on sait que BBY n’a pas encore réussi à décrocher des députés de l’opposition pour gonfler ses rangs. Ce qui amène à se demander si Macky Sall n’a pas perdu la majorité ?
